Welcome! I’m Sarah Glenn and I’m an interior designer based in Alexandria, Virginia. 

My love of interior design started when I was a kid, constantly re-imagining my bedroom, watching my parents make small improvements to our home on a budget, and visiting my grandparents’ home full of antiques, many of which my grandfather restored himself.

I strongly connected to the sense of place and feeling of home created by different members of our family. As I grew, I realized that the built environment has a profound effect on our lives, and I sought to understand the role design plays in crafting environments that enhance quality of life. 

I studied urban planning as an undergraduate at the University of Virginia’s School of Architecture. After starting my career in housing and community development policy, I decided to pursue my childhood passion and received my MA in Interior Design from Marymount University. Through interior design I’m able to fulfill my lifelong passion of building places and spaces that help the people within them thrive.

By day I design luxury kitchens and baths for an Italian cabinet company. In my spare time I provide interior design services and work to refine the design of my own home.
